The logo.
A broad, flat octopus: one head, many arms, the way one orchestrator directs many agents. Drawn in the Atlantic gradient, blue rising into sea glass. Set beside the wordmark, with no tile, it is the logo; alone, it is the mark. The navy tile is only for app icons, favicons and social avatars.
The octopus has a name: Octy. In the Agentic Platform, Octy is the assistant: she answers questions about your estate from your own figures, and never approves anything. Write it Octy, with a capital O and no article (“ask Octy”, not “ask the Octy”). The mark is the same drawing whether it is signing the logo or opening the assistant; only Octy, the assistant, moves.
Logo on dark
The default. The octopus in the bright end of the gradient, for navy and dark photography.
Logo on light
For white and pale backgrounds, documents and print. The octopus stands on its own here, without the tile, in the deep end of the gradient.
Mark on its tile
App icons, favicons and social avatars only, where a square is the format. Never in the logo.
Mark alone
The mark without the tile or the wordmark, for tight spaces and patterns.
One colour.
Solid black and solid white, with no gradient and no tile. For print, engraving and embossing, single-colour documents, and anywhere a partner's guidelines call for a one-colour mark. Use black on light grounds and white on dark grounds or photography; never grey, never tinted.
Clear space and minimum size
Keep a margin of half the octopus's height on every side. Minimum widths: the full logo 120px on screen or 30mm in print; the mark 16px.
Do not
- Redraw, retype or rearrange the wordmark. Every logo file has it outlined; use the file.
- Recolour the mark beyond the full-colour, black and white versions, change its gradient, or add shadows, outlines or glows.
- Stretch, squash, rotate or crop the logo.
- Place the logo on busy images or colours that fail contrast.
- Put the logo inside a sentence, on the navy tile, or combine it with another company's logo into one mark.
- Use an old or unofficial version taken from a screenshot.
Colour.
The North Atlantic at night: deep navy and slate for surfaces, cold blues for action, sea-glass teal as the single accent, and a muted sand as the only warm note. Colour never carries meaning on its own: there is no green for "yes" and no red for "no", because our products never deliver a verdict by colour.
The gradient
Signal Blue to Sea Glass, left to right. It runs through the mark itself, and on primary buttons and a single highlighted word in a headline. Never behind body text, and never added to the logo files: they already carry it.
Typography.
Two typefaces, both free under the SIL Open Font License and included in the kit. Space Grotesk speaks; JetBrains Mono labels. Body text uses the reader's system font, so it is fast and familiar everywhere.
Graphic elements.
A small set of shapes, used consistently, carries the brand further than decoration.
The swell
Two gentle wave lines at the foot of heroes and covers. Thin, slow, and never more than two.
The agent node
A Sea Glass dot at the end of a line, sometimes joined into a small network. It stands for an agent: in the logo, in diagrams and as a bullet.
The boundary
A dashed Sea Glass outline marks the customer's own environment in diagrams. What sits inside it never leaves.
Voice.
We sound like senior engineers who have stood in front of a regulator: plain, precise and calm. We lead with what changes for the business, and we never claim more than we can show.
We are
- Outcome-first: faster decisions, lower cost, fewer errors.
- Specific: name the rule, the step, the control.
- Honest about limits: people decide, and we say so.
- British English, sentence case, no exclamation marks.
We avoid
- Hype: "revolutionary", "magic", "10x" without evidence.
- Claiming a product decides, certifies or guarantees compliance.
- Naming clients without their written permission.
- Figures we cannot source.
Using our name.
The name
- Write Atlantic Agentic Labs in full the first time; "Atlantic Agentic" after that.
- Atlantic Agentic Labs is a trading name of Reevre Limited, registered in Ireland, company number 681822. Use the legal name in contracts and formal notices.
- Never "AAL", "Atlantic Labs" or "Atlantic Agentic Labs Ltd".
Partners and press
- Partner logos follow each partner's own brand guidelines; never place them inside or beside ours as one mark.
- Do not imply that we endorse a product, or that a partner endorses yours, without written agreement.
- For interviews, partnership announcements or anything not covered here, talk to us.
